Cosy morning talk between husband and wife

Her: “I have to say, you´re doing a great job in your effort to work yourself to death before the age of 45. Way to go there, tiger (she doesn´t usually call her husband “tiger.” Honestly, she doesn´t. It just sounded good then and there).”
Him (in a tired voice, because he´s barely awake): “Uuuh. What?”
Her: “You never exercise, you´ve been coming home from work at 2 o`clock at night* for the past two months, you eat out a lot, you like beer and let´s be honest, the food and beer part kinda shows. Oh, and you`re turning 40 next year. You´re the one with the Ph.D here, you do the math (ok, well, technically she has a Ph.D too, but that´s besides the point because she sure as hell isn´t putting it to use in any way whatsoever).”
Him: “Oh. Hm. Yeah. I´ll go and check on the kids.”
Her: I´ll give you two years at the most. Three maybe. Goodmorning, darling.
*To be fair, he always comes home for a few hours around 5-6 to hang with the kids or to make dinner. Rumour has it that´s why they´re still married.
